Reference Installation Instructions

Preparations: Prepare the necessary tools, such as wrenches, screwdrivers, electric drills, etc. At the same time, ensure that the vehicle surface is clean and tidy, free of dust and oil stains.

Vehicle lifting: Use a jack or lift to raise the vehicle so that the bottom of the rear bumper is fully exposed, facilitating installation operations.

Compare the position: Compare the bright black rear bumper diffuser lip with the vehicle's rear bumper to determine the appropriate installation position and make a mark. If there are LED lights, it is necessary to determine the installation position of the LED lights at the same time, and pay attention to avoiding the original wiring and other components of the vehicle.

Drilling (if necessary) : According to the installation requirements of the product, it may be necessary to use an electric drill to drill holes at the marked positions for installing screws or fixing clips. When drilling holes, it is important to keep them vertical to avoid deviation of the hole position.

Fix the diffuser lip: Align the diffuser lip with the installation position and secure it to the vehicle body using screws or clips. Ensure that the screws are tightened with moderate force. They should neither be too loose to cause the diffuser lips to loosen, affecting its aerodynamic performance and usage safety, nor too tight to deform the components. If there are LED lights, the circuits of the LED lights should be connected first, and then they should be fixed.

Check the wiring: For components with leds, after installation, carefully inspect whether the wiring connections are correct and firm to avoid short circuits or poor contact.

Debugging LED lights: If the LED lights have control switches or related functions, they need to be debugged to ensure that the LED lights can be lit normally and that functions such as brightness and flashing meet the requirements.

Final inspection: Recheck whether the diffuser lip is firmly installed, whether it fits well with the vehicle body, and whether there are any gaps or unevenness. After confirming that there are no errors, lower the vehicle.

Maintenance suggestions

Daily cleaning: When regularly washing the vehicle, pay attention to cleaning the rear bumper diffuser lip and LED lights. You can use a soft cloth and a mild cleaner to gently wipe off the dust, dirt and stains on the surface. Avoid using hard tools to scratch the paint surface of the components or the lampshade.

Avoid collisions: During driving and parking, try to prevent the rear bumper from colliding with other objects, as the diffuser lip is usually quite protruding and is prone to damage once it is hit. In case of an accidental collision, it is necessary to promptly check whether the components are damaged. If any damage is found, it should be repaired or replaced in a timely manner.

Check the wiring: Regularly inspect the wiring connection of the LED lights to see if there is any loosening, aging or damage. If any problem with the circuit is found, it should be repaired or replaced in time to avoid affecting the normal use of the LED light and even causing safety hazards.

Prevent water from entering: Although most LED lights have a certain degree of water resistance, it is still necessary to avoid keeping them immersed in water for a long time or in an environment with a lot of water accumulation. If water is found inside the LED light, it should be dealt with promptly. The moisture should be wiped dry and it should be checked whether the circuit has been damaged.

Paint surface protection: The bright black diffuser lip is usually treated with spray painting. To maintain its luster and appearance, it can be regularly waxed and other paint surface protection treatments can be carried out. This can effectively prevent the car paint from oxidizing and fading.

Chassis inspection: As the diffuser lip is installed at the bottom of the vehicle, when maintaining the vehicle, it is necessary to check the connection between the diffuser lip and the chassis at the same time to see if there is any looseness, rust or other conditions.
